Kurzeme

The route follows both banks of the Venta River. On the right bank of the Venta, the route offers a leisurely ride, enjoying the peaceful and tranquil landscape of the river valley and visiting Tārgale, Piltene, and Zlēkas.

The route passes through the ethnographic region of Suiti, connecting Kuldīga with Alsunga. Ivande Manor, Ēdole Castle, and a cranberry farm are the main stops along the way.

The route connects Kuldīga with Padure, a bustling village that is home to the "Ceplis" ceramics workshop. You can also visit Padure's granary and Padure Manor with its cellars.

The route allows you to explore the territory of Riežupe Nature Park, the longest underground cave labyrinth in Latvia, and the sparsely populated outskirts of Kuldīga.

A very scenic route that takes cyclists along small country lanes past fish ponds, small lakes for swimming on hot days, well-maintained rural properties, and cultivated grain fields, passing by Pelči and Snēpele manors.

By following this route, you have the opportunity to explore the romantic small town of Aizpute in Kurzeme, visit Apriki Manor, and make a stop in Cīrava to take a break at Cīrava Forest Park.
