The route takes you through the sites of the Christmas Battles, where some of the largest battles in Europe took place in the first half of the 20th century. You will be introduced to the witnesses of these battles, including monuments, battle locations, remains of fortifications, and brothers' graves, as well as a museum. The path then continues through Tīrelis, leading to the deer garden and touching the quiet walls of Valgunde Monastery.
