The surroundings of Tukums are renowned for their castles. Within short distances, you can find and visit both medieval and more recent castles and manors. The route includes Šlokenbekas Manor, Durbe Castle, Jaunmoku Castle, the towers of Tukums Castle, and the ruins of Vecmoku Manor. The end of the route can also be at the Milzkalne railway station, located 1 km from Šlokenbekas Manor and accessible via an asphalt road. From there, you can either return to Tukums or continue towards Riga by train.
