564. Riežupes lielais veloaplis

The route allows you to explore the territory of Riežupe Nature Park, the longest underground cave labyrinth in Latvia, and the sparsely populated outskirts of Kuldīga. It follows gravel paths, both larger and smaller, surrounded by abundant ferns and wild strawberry patches along the roadside. In dry summers, sections with heavier traffic may be dusty. The route also crosses the nature reserve "Ventas ieleja" and the Riežupe Nature Park, characterized by forests with slopes and ravines, sandstone outcrops, as well as numerous rare plant and animal species.
